Café Oasis sits tucked away on Manor Lane in Shipley, offering a familiar and welcoming spot for locals looking to enjoy a straightforward, no-fuss café experience. This is the kind of place where the staff know your name and a sense of community quietly hums alongside the clinking of coffee cups.

The vibe here is casual and comfortably busy, especially on weekend mornings when the all-day brunch draws in groups catching up over generous plates. You’ll find a mix of regulars and visitors settling in for a relaxed breakfast or a quick catch-up over coffee. It’s the kind of place where you might pop in with family—several reviews mention visits with older relatives—and feel right at home thanks to the consistently attentive and polite service.

Coffee at Café Oasis earns its keep with solid execution, pairing well with simple but well-loved staples like their chip butty and pastries. The lemon cake stand, sometimes offered for charity, adds a local touch that reflects the café’s connection to its community. While the atmosphere is lively on busy mornings, the clean, well-kept interior helps keep the space feeling welcoming rather than cramped.

Pricing can be a sticking point for some, especially as traditional café favourites like cheesy chips have seen noticeable price increases over time. This might be something to bear in mind if budget is a priority, but the generous portion sizes often still deliver good value.

For locals, Café Oasis serves as a dependable morning or midday stop—whether you’re here to fuel up for the day ahead, meet friends for brunch, or grab a quick bite with family. Weekends tend to be busier, and early visits can secure a quieter nook, but there’s usually space to settle in and soak up the friendly, community-oriented atmosphere that defines the place.

Been a customer here for awhile so its fitting I finally put a review on lol. The service is amazing here. The staff are kind, Welcomkng and caring. The only gripe I have is the pricing for the food. The food is getting way to expensive. For example cheesy chips used to be around £2.80 now it's pushing £5. I think to be exact it's around £4-£4.80. But apart from that It's overall a great place to have a drink.

It was quite busy Sunday morning but still had a great meal, tasty and very reasonable for the portion size. Great service as always from Claire and Julie. Would recommend the all day brunch

First ever visit to this cafe today. Super friendly staff. Delicious lemon cake being sold for only £1.50 in aid of charity. Busy and very popular but seating still available. Really great value for money. Fantastic coffee and chip butty. Will definitely visit again.
